POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES--Custodians are responsible for maintaining and cleaning the Sid Jacobson JCC facilities. This includes but is not limited to lobbies, entrance areas, lavatories, locker rooms, cafes, gyms, and all office areas.--Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow all safety standards and guidelinesSweep/Dust corridors, offices, locker rooms, staff lounge, and bathroomsEmpty all wastebaskets and/or trash bins daily, replace liners as neededReplenish supplies required for facilities maintenance: can include bleach, degreaser and cleaning agentsMaintain cleaning supplies and notify Facilities Supervisor or Facilities Director when additional supplies are neededClean and sanitize refrigerators, staff lounge sinks/counters, and restroom sinks/urinals.Vacuum and spot clean carpets as necessaryClean office areas, hallways, stairs, breakrooms, entryways and groundsCommunicate with Supervisor/Team Lead, follow instructionsCarry Radio unit at all timesGeneral housekeeping duties--All other duties as assigned--QUALIFICATIONS:2 years experienceKnowledge of different cleaning products and toolsAbility to stand and walk for long periodsAbility to work with minimum supervisionMust be able to lift at least 30 lbsTime management and multitasking abilitiesAbility to understand and carry out verbal and written instruction--Compensation details: 17-18 Hourly WagePI318ddc8999c9-25660-35983726
